Dearest
I do not know why you did not call me up either Sunday night or Monday morning. I left word for you to call.
I got home from the meeting at Berkeley and found my mother in the hospital. She fell and broke or dislocated
her right shoulder and received a bad cut on the head. It required six stitches to close the cut.
I suppose you are angry at some thing or other again. I suppose I'll have to have Hilda come down to take charge
around here.
I had intended to go hunting early Sunday morning and it was quite a jolt.
She is getting along fine and will be O.K. soon I hope although it will take her at least two weeks to
be around.
I have to do some work now so will close with
Love, yours forever
Marino
P.S. I'm sorry I acted mean Thursday night, but I came away just to get home. By the time I got to my car
I was wondering what I was mad at. - M.P.C.
