Dearest,

At last a real town so it seems but we are just getting started.

Had a wonderful trip thru the redwoods today. Left Willits the sidewalks were still rolled up at 9:30 o'clock this AM.

May I, at this time express my disappointment at not seeing you yesterday after lunch -- or rather at the start of this trip.

The whole thing is, we had our banquet sometime ago and everything is fixed as per schedule.

The trip was wonderful - stag or otherwise, but some day we may take this trip together.

Excuse my writing as I am at this time feeling [tired]. The only thing in my mind not doubtful is that I still as always, Love you and just dying to see you -- will write tomorrow.
