Dear Marian,

Don & Jack and I came up to Ukiah this morning and we are likely to be here all week so that lets out Wed nite.

I am sorry I can't see you before the end of the week as I had anticipated collecting for our little bet. I am going to collect that bet even if it costs me my own self-respect, just to show you that your judgement is not paramount or flawless, even doubtfull once in a while and in fact it is like most womens -- a minus quantity. Cash that one.

There is not much other news except that -- oh well the weather is fine. There are a lot of things to talk about but I am not in the mood tonite. They are having vaudeville here tonite -- the same circuit as Santa Rosa & Petaluma so I don't care about going.

Well Marian I will close with loving thoughts till the week end.

           Just
           Marino

P.S. dont' forget that little bet!
