My Dear Marian

I forgot to tell you that I had a Plumbers meeting on tonight and I hope you weren't disappointed.

I have to go to S.F. [San Francisco] tomorrow morning early to get some medicine especially for Santa. She was pretty sick today and suffered so much pain it was awful.

Tomorrow I will make special effort to get back so I can see you in the evening and (that is if you wish to go) I must go to Occidental and possibly to Rio Nido.

Feel kind of tired and sleepy - it's 12 P.M. straight up and -----
