Dearest Marian,
Were I sure this letter would be even slightly welcome, it had certainly been written long ago -- my
ardor in writing has certainly been cooled by your unfavorable attitude in my coming here. I know your criticism is of constructive and not destructive nature
and intended to benefit me.
I would like to say at this time that this convention has certainly been educational and that the benefits
are great. There are close to 800 registered by today. 12:00 noon Wednesday.
Included among the members here are all of the successful and progressive members in Calif. and even from
Nevada & Arizona. While I do not even pretend to be in the same rank as these men, it has given me a remarkable opportunity to meet most of them and their wives
and to come in close contact with some of the most successful and outstanding, all of which is going to be of tremendous help.
I do not know what your attitude to me will be from now on -- not that I do not care but that I must abide
by your decision.
I will be back Friday late and will see you at the earliest possible moment.
Please excuse my writing but I can do no better at this time.
(sidenote)Marian - I am a most unhappy boy - and blue.
With Love
Marino
