Dear Sweetheart:
Received your 'long' letter this morning and I hope this letter finds you enjoying your stay in
Southern California.
I haven't heard from Johnny at all since he left Santa Rosa two weeks ago.
I should be very brief with this letter as I know you are probably too busy to read a long letter
as well as write one. You are a bad sweetheart - but I miss you lots.
Went up with Mr. Nielsen to see the piano - also I saw the dining room set you liked and I think
it's just dandy - also the L. R. set. Outside of that I didn't go any farther into furniture.
I haven't been very busy - just fair but money has been coming in good. A week from Sunday A.M. we are going
to have communion and breakfast at Cotati and picnic at Hilton. If you are back - and I think you will be - I will take you - if you are not too tired from your trip.
I feel just like 'Andy' now - wonder where his Madam Queen is - and he knows she loves him because she told
him so. And he hopes she will come back.
This sure has been a long and lonesome week. I try not to think of you too much - I wish I could
always be a good boy to you - and I wish you were here now!
Always your own
Marino
